The form can be scanned, emailed or mailed into our office at the address listed. Below are the membership dues and information. Each member shall be required to pay membership dues annually. Membership dues must be paid in full by the first day of the Spring Conference.
Dues shall be:
Honorary Life Members - Dues are waived.
Honorary Life Members of this Association shall be persons who have made outstanding contributions to law enforcement, to the Louisiana Association of Secretaries to Chiefs of Police, and who are elected for this status through recommendation by the Executive Committee. Once elected as a life-time member, the member will no longer be required to pay dues, but will retain active membership status. Persons eligible for this designation shall be restricted to members who have twenty (20) consecutive years active service and the Charter Members: Karen Dye of Bossier City; Linda Deville of Shreveport; Maxine Davis of Alexandria; Eloyce Tannehill of Monroe; and Linda Durr of Monroe.
Active Members - Dues $75.00 Active members of this Association shall be Secretaries to Chiefs of Police, Secretaries to Assistant Chiefs of Police or those personnel performing the duties of Secretaries to Chiefs of Police or Assistant Chiefs of Police, and Secretaries to Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs who were Active in the organization at the time of retirement. Only active members may vote and hold office.
Associate Members - Dues $75.00 Associate members of this Association shall be all other members. This class of membership will not have voting rights nor hold office, but may serve on committees.
Retired Members - Dues $75.00 with LESS than 10 consecutive years in L.A.S.C.P. at the time of retirement.
Retired Members -Dues $35 with 10 years or MORE consecutive years in L.A.S.C.P. at time of retirement.
